Verdict

A legendary space sandbox where players build corporations, wage enormous wars and run a real economy. The free Alpha clone state lets you fly and play indefinitely, with the Omega subscription unlocking more ships and skills.

About EVE Online

EVE Online is the most ambitious sci-fi sandbox in the genre: a single shared universe where players form corporations, wage months-long wars and run an economy driven entirely by supply and demand. Ships, ammunition, everything, is built and traded by players.

The free Alpha clone state lets you fly, mine, trade and fight indefinitely, with the Omega subscription unlocking faster training and advanced ships. The learning curve is brutal, but nothing else offers this scale of player-made history.
